60s Themed Event Brings Empowerment to Women in Business

Montgomery, Ala – Tasha M. Scott—an entrepreneur, life coach and founder of WomenCONNECT—will host the 2nd Annual Jazz It Up event on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Escapology from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event is specifically planned to bring confidence, self-reliance, ambition and individualism through channeling Girl Power from past eras.

“Jazz It Up” is a one-of-a-kind event for women complete with live music, interactive photo booth, delicious hors d’oeuvres, prizes and synergy among women with common interests. In addition, the night will include an inspirational message from Sheyann Webb Christburg, a Civil Rights Activist and the youngest marcher from the Selma to Montgomery March with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as a 60-minute game pass to participate in an Escapology game for the evening.

The 60s Girl Power focus will be the theme for the music, decorations and attire. Ladies are invited to dress up in their favorite fashion or a “Girl Power” themed outfit from the 1960s. This event offers an evening of fun, entertainment, encouragement and the opportunity to join with other women in celebrating their accomplishments and exploring new opportunities.

“This event is all about connecting women and empowering them,” shared Scott. “I believe one of the greatest things we can do in the business world as women is to build relationships with other women in business. I want this to be a time where women can get poured into, have a great time and walk away feeling inspired and empowered.”

Early bird registration cost for the event is $47.00 per person until Saturday, July 22 at 11:59 PM. The rate will increase to $67 per person starting Sunday, July 23. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.tashamscott.com/jazzitup.
